I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Education, Vocal Emphasis, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Master of Music, Choral Conducting, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I am a member of the Voice Care Network. I retired from teaching elementary and middle school music in Milwaukee Public Schools after 32 years of teaching. I am still studying the cello at the Center for Strings and I direct the Northwest Catholic Youth Choir in addition to my duties at St. Therese.
Sterling Biggers is my sweet husband. We have one daughter, Tonia, who is a talented violist working in the Dallas, Texas area. Aside from all things musical, I enjoy camping, walking and hiking, reading, Sudoku, Scrabble and jigsaw puzzles, sewing, photography, Tai Chi Chu'an, Yoga and rescuing German Shepherd Dogs. Our most recent rescues are Saulie and Sombra. They share the house with us and Clancy, the ring-necked dove.
