- Sterling has been a member of the adult choir and attending Masses at St. Therese since 1983. In 1984 he married his fiancee, Elterine Jankowski. Eventually, he became the accompanist for the adult choir. He has been a member of the Parish Life Committee, a first grade catechism teacher, a member of the "Praise Band," and is currently a member of the design team for the "Living as God's People" program. About twelve years ago, under Father Roger Heck's supervision, he took part in the RCIA program, converted to Roman Catholicism, and officially became a member of the parish. Sterling holds a master's degree in education and is currently a full-time fifth grade teacher for St. Bernadette School. Aside from his professional responsibilities, he enjoys reading, swimming, and cooking.
