Thank you to all of you who attended the Annual Meeting on May 3rd. The food was great, the entertainment was rockin’, and the Jeopardy was entertaining!

Strategic Planning

April 28, 2009 by admin

This post is from the Strategic Planning Committee of our Parish:

Two years ago, St. Therese undertook a strategic planning process. Its intent was and is to provide focus and direction to the parish over the next five to seven years to assure its strength and vitality. The plan encompasses the feelings, ideas, and comments the St. Therese community expressed in a survey that was taken at the start of the planning process.

It was not directed by the Archdiocese, nor is it connected to the current Faith in Our Future Capital Campaign. This plan is St. Therese’s. As a valued member of the parish, we would like your input before the document is finalized and presented to the Archdiocese.

Please read through it and give it your serious and prayerful consideration. Let us know your thoughts by emailing strategicplanning@sainttheresemilwaukee.org. We will respond though it may be a few days. If you prefer not to email or do not have that resource available, please contact Jim Balliet at (414) 651-4425.

Thank you for your time. We look forward to hearing from you.

This is a large document, please be patient while it loads. Click here to download the St. Therese Strategic Plan

Thank you to the parish members who shared a meal with us and to the presenters who brought the beautiful displays to the Pot Luck dinner on Tuesday, March 31st. The food was delicious, the company congenial and the presentations informative and attractive. See? It’s easy being Green! And economical, too!

We are looking for stories from parishioners (old and new) about how living your Catholic faith at St. Therese has enriched and influenced your life. It can be a story of love, loss, celebration, sacrifice or struggle; a memory of someone or something that touched your life and made you smile; a reflection upon the peace your faith brings you. We know there are many such stories and we want to hear them and share them with our St. Therese community. If you have a faith story to share, please write it down and drop it in the collection basket with a label “Faith Story,” email it to us at FIOFchairs@sainttheresemilwaukee.org, or click on “Comments” immediately below this post and submit your story right here. We need these stories absolutely no later than March 29th. (Please note that by submitting your story, you are giving St. Therese permission to reproduce it in print documents for our Faith in Our Future Campaign.) We have “Faith in our Future” and we want to hear why you do, too!

Thanks,

Darian Borst, Michael Falk, Ann Maher, & Jesse Stringer

The Social Concerns Committee needs your help. We are committed to a relationship with a Church, school, group, or community in the solidarity of a sistering relationship. To that end we would like your input on the subject. Please answer the following questions as completely as possible.

We realize that this will take a good deal of thought and prayer, perhaps conversation with others, as well. Therefore we will give you the entire month of January to submit a response. We thank you for your attention to this very important part of our ministry.

You need not choose to serve on a Sistering Committee in order to submit a suggestion. Nor do you need to submit a suggestion in order to serve on a Sistering Committee. However, we are always accepting new members and ideas.

EDIT: We are no longer accepting suggestions. Thank you to those that replied!
