Join us in giving thanks

November 8, 2010 by Elterine in blog

We will offer two services in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday. We encourage you to join us in giving thanks for our many blessings at one or both of these special services.

We hope you will join parishioners and choir members of Martin Luther Lutheran Church, Mount Zion Lutheran Church and members of our St. Therese Choir at 7:00pm on Wednesday, November 24th for our Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service. Hospitality and treats will be served after we give praise and thanksgiving together as fellow Christians. We have been celebrating Thanksgiving Eve with our Lutheran friends from these two parishes for decades, now. We look forward to another chance to worship with them and share in hospitality.

We will also offer mass on Thanksgiving Day, November 25th at 9:00am in the Church.  All are welcome!

The new schedule for all liturgical ministries – greeters, servers, lectors, ushers, and Eucharistic ministers – is now available online. You can always access it from the ministries page of our website, or click here to open it in a new window. It’s the first link under “Liturgical Ministries.” This will be updated each quarter with the current schedule. It’s a great way to replace a missing schedule, check it when you’re not at home, or just get a quick reminder when you don’t feel like going down to check the fridge door. Thank you to Mari Pavleje for putting the schedule together!
