Where exactly are you located?
We're on the corner of 95th and Bluemound Ave on the Wauwatosa/Milwaukee border. We're across the freeway from the Milwaukee County Zoo, and right next to an I-94 on and off ramp.
I would like to request prayers for someone who is sick, in the military, or in a volunteer program? How do I do that?
At St Therese, it is our privilege to pray for those in our community who need our prayers for any reason. To add a name to any of these lists, please submit this form. Please note that you need the permission of the person whose name you are submitting. Please notify the parish when the person should be removed from our list.
When do you hold baptisms?
Baptisms are held on the first weekend of the month at any of our weekend masses.
I'd like to get married at St. Therese. What do I have to do?
To receive almost any sacrament, including marriage, at least one of the involved parties needs to be a registered member of the Parish for at least six months before preparation can even begin. Please plan ahead. Once you are ready to begin preparation for a sacrament, contact the Parish Office for an appointment.
I was baptized at St. Therese. Can I get a copy of my baptismal certificate?
Absolutely! Simply call or email Heather in the Parish Office. The information you will need to provide is the person's name and date of birth, the date of baptism if known, and the names of both parents, including mother's maiden name. Please also provide a phone number in case there are questions, and an address if you would like the certificate mailed. Please note that it can take up to a week to prepare the certificate.
How do I get something added to this website?
If you are a ministry leader and would like to add or change something on your ministry's page, please email a ready-copy to the webmaster or deliver it to the Parish Office during regular business hours. Please allow up to a week for your change to be added.
How do I submit a bulletin or pulpit announcement?
All bulletin announcements must be submitted in writing (email preferred!) to the Administrative Assistant by 8:30am Monday morning the week of publication. Please follow these guidelines when submitting an article via email. Pulpit announcements may also be submitted in writing by 12:00pm on Thursday. These deadlines are printed in each and every bulletin for your quick reference. All announcements must be submitted camera-ready. Altered deadlines due to holidays will be printed inside the bulletin. Please note that due to publication deadlines, these submission deadlines are firm.
I don't belong to your parish. Can I rent a meeting/practice space for my bible group/soccer team/girl scouts/boy scouts/etc?
Thank you for your interest in our parish and facilities. However, at this point, we do not have the capacity to rent to groups outside our parish.
I'm the chairperson of ____ committee. How do I schedule meetings?
Meeting Rooms are always available for Committee or Ministry meetings. Please call the Administrative Assistant to ask about the various rooms available. Please be aware that all meetings need to be scheduled on the Office Calendar by submitting this form, calling the Administrative Assistant or emailing your meeting dates to her.
